What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health and well-being. It recognises that nutrients and other food components may influence the function of the body, protect against disease and help restore health.
A wide range of tools are used to assess general health, identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to symptoms and health concerns.
Nutritional Therapy does not diagnose, treat or cure and is never used as a replacement for medical advice. A Nutritional Therapist will work alongside a medical or healthcare professional to address any imbalances and support the body towards optimal health. Any person with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms will immediately be referred to their medical professional.
