Working with me:

As a nutritional therapist, my aim is to help you achieve optimal health and feel the best you can. I believe that no two people are the same therefore a ‘one size fits all’ approach doesn’t work. My advice is personalised and specific to you and your needs. Working with you, I will look to identify any nutritional imbalances and understand how these may be contributing to any symptoms or health concerns.

I understand that making meaningful, long-term changes to your diet can be a gradual process and can be challenging. I take care to devise a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan for you that is both achievable and fits around your life.

What to Expect from your consultation:

Before attending your first appointment, you will be sent a questionnaire which will help provide some background information on your health, lifestyle and establish any health goals that you may have. You will also be sent a 5 day diet food and drink diary. These are both are to be completed and returned back to me via email at least 48 hours before our session.

During your initial appointment we will discuss your health concerns and I will take a full health history that looks in detail at your medical and family history, your diet, your lifestyle and any symptoms you may have.  This allows me to build up a picture of what's going on in your body and identify where changes may be needed.

I will then provide you will a personalised plan with nutritional and lifestyle recommendations. I may provide meal ideas and may offer advice on lifestyle factors such as exercise, sleep and relaxation. I may also suggest nutritional supplements although this is not always necessary and food comes first. I may also suggest functional testing if I feel that this would be beneficial.

A follow-up consultation is usually booked 4-6 weeks after the initial. We will discuss how you got on with the plan and if you’ve had any results. We will then adjust your nutrition and lifestyle plan building on any positive changes and addressing any issues or challenges that you’ve faced.
